How are you innovating in ed tech?

Teacher and techie here. As I consider how much my students' school experience has changed over the past year, I'm curious what the next five years might look like for them, other learners, teachers, and parents.

What educational technology tools, products, etc. are you working on now?

I'm building Quill.org to help students become stronger writers and critical thinkers. We're turning the powerful writing strategies detailed in this piece into free and open-source learning tools that can help millions of students: https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2012/10/the-wri...

We're now building new critical thinking tools that help students build logical claims, use precise evidence, and articulate their own ideas. If you'd like to learn more, my email is in my HN profile.

I am working on a couple of ideas, all applicable to in-school or remote learning:

1. How to reduce teacher workload outside of school

2. How to easily introduce mastery and differentiated lessons into mainstream/c-c planning, instruction and assessment

3. How to introduce project-based learning into mainstream/c-c planning, instruction and assessment
