Why Are the Interior Surfaces of Aircraft Painted Green?

Why are the insides of aircraft surfaces painted that bilious green color? Is it an anti-corrosion thing? Or is it for some other reason?

It's a feature to discourage the submission of links inside questions, so the submitter does not have a pinned comment. But in some cases it is an antifeature.

Typically the green color is zinc chromate which is used to prevent or reduce corrosion on aluminum parts
