What is your goto tool to create a quick small website?


Every now and again I need to put up a quick landing page that looks decent.

I have little design skill.

I can make it in basic HTML. not so pretty for the masses. I can create a site with Hugo but the look and feel is too conservative and inflexible.

I am using RapidWeaver now, I am hoping to find good alternatives.

I can set up WordPress with a theme, but for tiny wwebsites I strongly prefer static pages.

Just use Wix or Squarespace. I think learning to make a normal website now days is mostly worthless knowledge. No real company is going to pay you to make a website, that job vanished about 5 years ago.
