How do you host your mailing lists?

If you ran a small community mailing list, where would you host it? I'm looking for something aimed at community-builders as opposed to marketers, as this list is totally non-commercial (although that might change in the future).

Emphatically not looking for things like Discord and such. Just good old-fashioned email. :)
