Are unpopular books worth reading?
My dad has a bunch of old business & nonfiction books that I pulled out of his library.
They don't have many ratings online and I'm just wondering... should I even give them a shot, or read the more popular books of today?
Um, can you post a list of the titles, please? To me, the old books are the only ones worth reading. "Everything old is new again." It's all been done before and generally much better, but finding old books in decent shape? You have a potential gold mine on your hands...
One of the most popular books of recent years was "50 shades of grey".
Just like in high school, popularity is a bad marker of usefulness.
The only way to know is to open them up and see.
Plenty of good books are ignored by the web.
