How do you read on your browser / phone? Any tips to do it better?

Personally I like taking highlights and notes on the browser & mobile while reading. (I made an app & chrome extension, in fact just to do this lol). But I realized that not many people share this tendency.

Some people told me that they just read on their computer / phone without any other assistance, and print it if they really want to peruse it.

Do you have a tip to improve the performance (speed, memory retention)? What is your little tip or tools that you use?
