Why are tweetstorms more readable than blog posts?
Has anyone else noticed that tweetstorms are more readable than blog posts? Any idea why this is? Is it because Twitter forces the writer to make a point every 280 characters? Is it because it feels more public? Other ideas?

Twitter is junk food. This is like saying why is McDonald’s easier to eat than kale salad? It’s easier because it doesn’t really say much of substance.

In what sense is it more "readable"?
The main difference is reach, not readability. I write a post on my blog, you need to know about and visit my blog. I write a post on Twitter and... the audience is already on Twitter and able to easily share it with others.

Uhh. Most tweets are a unreadable mess. They lack context and references. They are about as informative as the text crawl that most news television shows have at the bottom of the screen.
