How to Become a Builder from Consumer?

I read online posts HN, news, finance (market health). I am working in software but I am not coding. It&rsquo;s a people/project management job. Looking at so many people creating things, I see I am lacking behind. In fact, I never created anything substantial that I can show or be proud of. At most, I have assembled IKEA desk and dinner table.How I become a builder and pave way for enjoying remainder of life and make some money as well?

You'll get a laundry list of languages and dev kits and trinkets to help make you a tinkerer from people on here.
To me that's a waste of time.
Figure out something you want to make, try to make it.
Once you have a specific goal in mind it's easy to get advice on how to approach that as opposed to something as broad as "I want to become a builder"

Get an Arduino.Go with a sketchbook to a public place and sketch the first person who interests you, do it ten times a day no matter how bad you are at it.
