Path from business desire to first customer in your country

I am in the process of creating a platform and a community with friends for people willing to start up a company. In France, it can be a very long way, from a wish of entrepreneurship, to an idea, quitting their job the right way, working on a business plan, finding some funds, incorporating without error, … This is why we are creating a community to benefit one from another.

But I was wondering if people in other countries have similar difficulties, and what help they can find to help them reach incorporation, at least?

I did some searches for the US but either I cannot find the proper terms to search for, or these are no brainers for Americans, because I found none complaining of the path before being an entrepreneur, and none to offer help for such an early stage.
