What is a good replacement for CGI.pm?

Question

I still use cgi.pm for doing server side stuff like processing forms and AJAX calls because I've been lazy I suppose, but it's still really handy for me and I'm not aware of anything else quite like it for .cgi scripts.I'd like to stick with perl but I'll appreciate and look into any suggestions offered.

I haven't found one, except I use PHP shims for connecting with Perl as an alternative to CGI for users who can't configure their web server, but can still run PHP.

Have you tried Dancer? I’m a fan
