How do you get 1st coding job in NYC or SF without a degree or exp.?

By exp. I mean experience. Sorry, couldn't write the full version in the title.Like front end, back end, quality assurance and testing, and devops.How do you get someone to give you an interview? I haven't applied for coding jobs so I don't know how likely it is that I can get an interview.I would rather not drop a lot of money on a bootcamp if I don't have to.

With no exp or degree you will likely be looking at unpaid internships. Even then, unless you have a friend on the inside you are likely SOL. Outside of these markets, you might have better luck though.
