We need a calendar but don’t want to code it. What’s a good alternative?


We are working on an app right now. It needs to have a calendar and scheduling functions, but it’s not the main function of the app, and we would rather just drop in a configurable component rather then code it from scratch. The app is PWA, with React front end and NodeJS backend.

Any recommendations? Ideally we are looking for something that would allow us to store data in our own DB and also would be nice if it has a drop in front end for react.

I realize this isn’t a perfect match for your requirements but my company has used various products from AddEvent over the years and they’ve always been a great experience for our end users (primarily their URL based add event to calendar functionality). It looks like they offer an embedded calendar solution potentially with the scheduling functionality you’re looking for.
