Could you store data in the stock market?
Was thinking about how the trading history of the stock market must be logged somewhere. Could you use this fact to store and retrieve data?
This is a plot point in Ted Chiang's science fiction story "Understand". (I feel like I've also seen it elsewhere in science fiction somehow.)
