Do you want a Chrome Extension to follow people on HN?


Hi folks,

I recently offered to implement a Chrome Extension for HN; just to give back to the HN community.

AlexITC ( https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=AlexITC) had the cool idea of an extension that would enable you to follow other users.

Before heading for implementation and spending time on this, I wanted to check with you first. Is this something you would use or not? I do not want to create something that no one uses so I’d appreciate your honest feedback.

One thing a bit weird about the following people concept, is there is nothing predictable about what they will talk about or how much they will post on any give day. I usually follow someone after reading something they wrote about X and then find them talking about about Y or Z for the next N posts.

Following keywords/names mentioned in posts maybe more interesting...
