What email service do you use?

I was wondering what email service people here use, since I find that many here share a positive outlook (pun intended) aboout privacy

I've been using https://www.migadu.com for a few years. Unlimited domains/inboxes at a very reasonable flat rate. They charge by how many emails you send.

Gmail with Fastmail (my own domain) as a backup.

Email privacy is largely impossible. Even if you have a private email host, it's very likely that the vast majority of your recipients are hosted by Google, Microsoft, Apple, or Yahoo.

http://protonmail.com for a few years now, I recommend them. I use it with a custom domain so I can always switch.

Also with Fastmail on my own domain. I like the little extras they offer too, like calendar/contacts/file storage. You can even host static sites with them if you want.

For my own emails, I use postfix running on a VM at Linode and just read the emails with strings and a perl script that decodes dequotes them. For sending emails, I use a shell script that populates a template.

For family and for some limited purpose or throw-away emails, I point a handful of my domains to Fastmail. [1]

Fastmail. The Web UI is fast and I played with the JMAP API to automate my emails management.

I use Zoho mail with my own domain - personal though.

I'd say – anything you put on the internet isn't private anymore.

Gmail + spark mail client. I also hear a lot of good things about superhuman.com
