Rush Limbaugh dead at 70 Where do you see Conservative ideology heading?

Rush absolutely changed the media landscape with his radio show. The highest rated talk show for over 3 decades -- perhaps the person most individually responsible for shaping modern-day Conservative ideology (at least in the US).

His legacy will be felt for decades still to come.

From my perspective the U.S. has steadily shifted to the right the last 40 years. What was once Republican ideas are now labeled socialist. For example consider Romneycare and it’s similarities to Obamacare. It was Nixon who created the EPA. These are just examples to express my idea and are not meant to be taken as exhaustive.

I see no change in the rightward shift. I think it will continue for some time. I believe Republicans are committing demographic suicide and that in 2032 things will be very much different in terms of power if white nationalism continues to be implicitly embraced by the party. Voter suppression works for a while but is not a long term strategy.
