Is your government issuing vaccine cards?

I just watched a local news story warning us not to post images of our vaccine cards. I have not had a vaccine shot yet mainly due to lack of supply and not being in a high risk age bracket. So I haven't recieve my immunity passport either and I was unaware that they were issuing such cards.

I'm not sure how I feel about these cards but I am definitely concerned that such a device has been implemented without sufficient public discussion and the news media has not questioned my governments motivations for issuing them. The story made it seem like vaccine cards are just a common place thing we have always carried in our wallets like drivers licences.

I'm curious if this is happening everywhere and that maybe I have been too distracted with other news and missed the town halls and public consultation phase. So is your government issuing vaccine cards? and was there any discourse prior?

Thanks.

Our country uses the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Certificate_of_V... so it's not dissimilar to measels or yellow fever. Meant as prove vaccination, not immunity. Of course alternatively, if you don't have your "yellow card" (actually a booklet) afaik they also have a paper document.

How that document is accepted for travel is still open. I remember I needed it for several countries in Africa (yellow fever) in the past. There is no regulation asking people to carry it all the time like driver licences.
