Should legislators force Facebook to implement the ActivityPub protocol?

Assuming that they're also required to allow two-way, read/write access from other ActivityPub platforms, I can think of worse ideas.

no. legislators should be forced to use and run (or obtain from a competent vendor) their own ActivityPub implementations.
