Anyhow,
I need help rediscovering an article that was on the top 30 list within the past 6 months.
I cant remember what the article was called, but the message stood out to me, and i almost daily think about it. I hoping you guys can help me find it again.
The article was written by a software company founder. Not a massive company, but they scaled up. They built some form of software, and one of his main points was that all these smaller clients bought off-the-shelf software. Soon, larger clients approached and wanted the software. I just remember that the author wrote that once you start providing software to larger clients, that what the software to be customised, then you stop being a software developer and start being a consultant.
I seem to remember that it was published to medium, but i cant for the life of me find it again.
