What is your favorite WFH productivity hack?
To make a WFH office, I hacked off the doorknob to a room. Little kids don't have the grip strength to turn the leftover chunk of metal.
Control calorie intake, daily walks and home workouts. This is the biggest benefit of WFH for me and is hopefully having some positive mental and concentration benefits.
Idk there's not much to "hack".
1. Set up your favorite physical work setup (screens, which chair etc)
2. Concentrate on the task at hand
2a. take proper breaks, go for a run etc
3. Just do it
I lock myself in my office for 2-3 hour chunks of time and have only my work computer. It's too easy to get distracted if I work out in the kitchen etc.
A standing desk and a hot plate to keep a cup of tea warm. The desk keeps me moving and the tea being handy reduces trips to the kitchen.
Headphones with no music to separate home acoustics & work time, so that there is a meaningful separation
Relentless use of Pomodoro timer.
