Anything to Normalize Audio Output?


On some video calls, audio volume for one speaker will be drastically different from another.

I'd like to set the video app volume and then have the audio driver clip (or is that trim?) at a certain volume (and perhaps certain frequencies.)

Is such a thing possible?

Platform is GNU/Linux.

Take a look at LADSPA plugins, I know pulse supports them but I don't know if anyone has made a normalizer plugin.

Edit: After a quick search, this may be a bit easier than fiddling with LADSPA:
