Good Design Mockup Software, other than PowerPoint

I currently use PowerPoint for design mock-ups. It takes minimal effort to drag icons and images onto a page and quickly iterate through many different concepts.

What do you use to quickly create new design concepts?

Miro (formerly RealtimeBord) is a multipurpose digital whiteboard that has changed remote work for me. Even before the pandemic, it made partially remote team collaboration so much easier.

You can drag and drop stuff from your computer into the board. You can draw. It has awesome diagraming tools, icon sets, and extensions. It’s not specifically a design tool, but it fills that role of whiteboard - sharing ideas visually - better than I thought possible in a virtual setting.

(I don’t work for them. I just love it so much. If anyone from miro sees this, please offer a cheap personal plan.)

For UI Mockups i use Balsamiq https://balsamiq.com/wireframes/

It's my sweet spot for quick iterations, close to reality and still abstract enough
