The site shows its own stats, indicating around 5000 visitors per week. I remember that for the longest time that didn't work; it was pegged at zero.

Funny, I just recently found out that there's a replacement for freshmeat, which I visited daily (or more, when bored) in ancient days gone by. So right now it's in my rotation again and I have discovered some interesting new applications apart from the regular old staples there already.Hope it would get more posts there, it's definitely better than watching those horrible "awesome" github lists or hoping for the rare sprinkle of fairy dust in sub-reddits.
