Are Design Systems Masturbation?
I work for a company that seems to have an inordinate focus on a half-baked design system, which constantly gets in the way of all developers shipping features.
To what extent do people think design systems have a legitimate role to play above being mere job security for graphic designers.
at my company we try and see how it goes, if we run into trouble we just do next logical thing, maybe one day we'd run out of possible solutions and would need to redo entire thing, but why fix problems we are not having now.
