Do you think there will be a future exchange for ethical companies?

I am not interested in short-term shareholder profit. After seeing articles about micro-plastics in the environment, privacy violations, data misappropriation, and employee abuse--I have lots of cognitive dissonance in participating in a stock market of companies that do not care about anything but shareholder profit.

Why do companies not get stopped in their tracks from causing damage which is motivated by greed? Fines always seem to be baked into the cost-of-doing-business-model. Why aren't companies threatened with de-listing or frozen periods based on their competitive behavior.

Oh, if only life were so simple. It is short sighted to blame such a wide variety of regulatory deficiencies and differences of opinion on a single intentional goal. There is an eponymous law about not jumping to conspiracy theories when stupidity and incompetence are qualified explanations.
