Is there a difference between reload the webpage and re-entering it?

I have been able to see an interesting phenomenon for a few days now, with 64kbps internet speed, the page will load faster if I enter again[0] instead of using the reload button.When using the reload, the page loads up to 80% slower than re-entering it on Firefox browser.[0] - click on the url and press enter

Yes, the "re-enter" behavior uses more cache instead of re-requesting the page and its resources.
