What's your best purchase of this year?
Every year I buy things that I'm convinced will provide me additional value, but it always comes down to a few that have significantly changed my living for the better. This year it is a hundred dollar pillow that cured my problems with falling asleep.
My new, portable coffee setup : an aeropress and a grinder (1zpresso q2 mini). I'm making coffee everyday with this and it's been great. I used to think espresso was the only option, but espresso tools are not easily portable and I tend to switch country every year or so.
I also bought a portable 15inch screen for my laptop, not as good as expected but still a good use of 90€
I bought a standing desk for working from home from UPLIFT Desk: https://www.upliftdesk.com/
Normally, I work at an office building, but I needed something for home due to the pandemic. It's been great.
I bought a Kinesis Advantage 2. My wrist/hand pain has disappeared completely. Still not typing as fast as I'd like to, but the lack of pain makes up for it. The onboard remaps and macros are amazing.
I bought a cheap paperback book recommended by a friend. It got me away from the computer screen and gave us more to talk about.
