Did Captcha suddenly get terrible for you, also?
I've noted that over the last week, Captcha is requiring a ~5s transition between each click, and multiple iterations of image identification, all across multiple browsers and machines. It's at the point where I've just given up and walked away on several sites. Is this the new normal?
It seems to vary with the originating site. Most of my experiences have matched yours, but a couple of sites let me in after one screen with no additional screens or even replacement photos - and that was using same browser and same IP.
I got this on one website the other day, and thought about complaining to them. I suppose they don't control that directly, but if users are turned away by it, maybe they'll stop using it.
