Is there a consumer-friendly Pi-Hole?

Does a consumer-friendly version of a Pi-Hole, one that would be easy for someone non-technical to set up, exist? If not, is there a reason why?

Pi-hole is only effective when paired with NAT rules on your router to capture all DNS lookups.

Maybe there are routers with Pi-hole installed? I haven’t looked. I’ll bet there are guides for installing Pi-hole on edge routers, for example. You could then give the router to someone, ready to go.

I quite easily set up a DNS blacklist on my USG. Still not quite what I'd call consumer friendly, but only a couple of console commands as opposed to setting up the entire pi. Instructions here: https://community.ui.com/questions/HowTo-Ad-blocking-using-d...

I have heard of eBlocker but haven't personality tried it.

https://winstonprivacy.com/ is the only thing I’m aware of that’s remotely similar to Pi-Hole; but it comes with a subscription cost.

If by Pi-Hole you mean a host-based adblocking solution, NextDNS is perhaps the most consumer-friendly. I am a paying customer myself and highly recommend it.

But if you mean a _local_ host-based adblocking hardware solution for your entire network then I don't know, unfortunately.

Could a coin be made by selling a micro sd card with it set up on it?
