What kind of life awaits the first General AIs that are created?

As best as I can see their most likely prospects lie in being full-time 24/7/365 Uber/Lyft/Waymo/Taxi drivers. Or perhaps unmanned war apparatus (fighter jets, Helicopters, Tanks etc)?

This is, of course, assuming that these tasks require an General AI to carry out at same level as human beings.
