Which tech companies are still committed to working from office ?
I have seen numerous articles and blog posts about all the tech companies that have transitioned or are transitioning to remote only. Are there any tech companies that are still committed to primarily being an office culture ? Reason I am asking is that I personally dislike remote work, so curious whether the pool of in person office opportunities are going to dramatically decline
Microsoft is becoming more flexible but the default is still going to be in office when all the quarantines pass.
i dont think most companies are talking about ending the office culture. I know for sure my company is not, and its one of the ones thats already publicly stated WFH is a permanent option. There are a ton of people like you who would rather work in an office. There's also a ton who would rather work from home. It seems like the expectation is more work wherever you work best, home or office or hybrid. That does mean you will probably have more remote teammates, however I expect there will be density in offices for a long time still.
My wife works at Fortinet, they seem to want people in the office as much as is reasonably possible given the current situation.
