What are your views on VR Concerts?

They are great, doesn't even need a pandemic for them to become popular. It is a great experience to watch your favorite artist on stage and live an experience that you otherwise couldn't. This is if you livestream or film with one or more VR Cameras. Other way to enjoy VR concerts are in a virtual world, we had DJs connect their sound to our own virtual worlds and have parties inside VR during quarantine with much success. The band and the stage. I think it’s a very underrated thing tbh. If covid was to stay for a number of years then I think people would warm to VR. It would take that length of time. If the music industry got behind it and promoted it, it could be a big thing. Be maybe it’s the magic bullet they seems too obvious to be taken seriously.

A friend of mine has a VR start-up and has shown me some demos. Some of those were of concerts and parties. The experience is quite unique, especially when the camera is on the stage.

It is a unique experience and if done right, I would likely purchase recordings, even though I am quite unlikely to buy regular recordings of live shows.
