Monetizing/attaching a monetary reward to good HN comments?

I see many insightful and high-reputation commenter s on HN, but they only post occasionally. What if there was a "tip" link that allowed the transfer of small amounts of money to incentivize commenting?

For people of normal economic class, they can withdraw the money.

For people rich enough to not care about money, the tips could be auto-contributed to a charity of their choice. (Feed XX children.)
