Why is there no emoji for pyramids or Sphinx?


There’s emojis for the Statue of Liberty and other landmarks in the Travel & Places category, hell there’s even one for the Easter Island Moai , but none for some of the most iconic landmarks of all mankind??

Each year we get nonsensical new emojis that nobody asked for but how come more obvious ones are still missing?

Probably because nobody submitted a suggestion and design, yet.

I think both would have good chances to be included. See this article about someone who got "his" favorite missing symbol added to emojis. The process seemed rather sensible and feasible.
