Good eplanation of AI for curious 10yo?

My son is almost 10, and is quite interested in AI. He likes math and likes more technically accurate explanations of concepts, but he's not ready to understand a highly technical explanation of AI. He also gets really frustrated by buzzword-heavy overly vague explanations.Can anyone recommend an article-length discussion of AI that clarifies how current "AI" systems work?

I had a look at a couple of https://www.reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive/search?q=artifici... answers but none seem understandable for a 10 years old, much less a 5 year old. Same with https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_intelligence
