Have you ever thought of getting out of software?

I'm 27 and been in software for 10+ years. I've been thinking about this for some time now. Not really wanting out, but more thinking about what it's like on the other side. Did you do it? What did you switch to?

Did you chose coding for the employment opportunities, or you thought you were turning a hobby into a job, or some other reason?When you say software, do you writing pieces of code, or running the full game from problem identification and analysis thru to delivery?

Yeah think about it all the time. The realistic options are even more unappealing so I&rsquo;m stuck here for now.
