Clearly yes - if you have an interesting take on the world or some corner of it, then please share it. We will all be the richer for it.
I don’t know if a traditional blog is the thing to do anymore, but there are so many ways to self publish online, and we are living in a flourishing era of self publishing. Podcasts, Substack, Patreon, etc.

Most of my blog content (https://walkingriver.com) came from me keeping notes during projects. They are documentation for myself that I can refer to later. I have done that. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I managed to scrape together enough content to publish a few books on Amazon (https://amazon.com/author/mcallaghan).
So I would say, "yes."

I think the biggest reason for a blog is to exercise your writing and thinking skills. Getting your ideas on paper really help clarify your thinking. I am doing that with my blog (https://www.virtuwise.com) and hoping to increase my output in 2021. Writing more long-form content. Consistency is key for sure :)

Yes. Especially because of covid. I think blogs are going to make a comeback here shortly. With podcasts rising and the like, I believe blogs will become a trend again. People are looking for entertainment constantly.

Yes, at least for me. I use it as handy / always accessible notes for future self. Usually I end up with 'what was I thinking back then?'.

It makes more sense during pandemic. Especially if it's a professional blog related to your skills.

For what goal?

To generate revenue probably not to improve exposure and keep notes maybe
