Do macOS and Windows Violate GDPR?
I understand they should tell the user what data they send and why and all telemetry should be opt in?
Or is there a loophole that GDPR only applies to the web and that's why Apple and Microsoft are filling their boots with personal data?
Surely that should be illegal?
I shouldn't have to use some obscure tools and "hack" the system to disable leaking of my personal data?
Has anyone tried to send Subject Access Request to Apple or Microsoft to receive all telemetry data they collected? If you think it is not a personal data, then you know you can identify a person from their behavioural patterns.
I expect Apple and Microsoft know what GDPR are and that telemetry data do not contain personal data.
