What is the most underappreciated country for tech innovation?

My vote is Sweden. Being an American, and spending an extended period in Stockholm; 3 months and 1.5 months independently. Sweden is underappreciated. While not always "high tech and academic" look at the biggest YouTube game streamer Pewdiepie. Then there is Pirate Bay and of course Spotify. "Stockholm has produced more unicorns per capita than any other city in the world."[1]

Australia has an impressive list of innovation or 'actual firsts', but has a bad habit of literally giving them away to other countries because they aren't recognised as innovation (or aren't properly capitalised and developed) in Australia itself until those inventions return from overseas.

Startups in Africa are beginning to get traction. Nigeria for example is a growing tech hub

Czechia. Cool tech startups, good pay in Prague (approaching western salaries) for tech workers. AI is really taking off here.
