What free, open source OS do you use?
For those who are using their computers full time for work or development, what distributions/OSes are you using, and how? What hardware does it run on, and what makes you choose it over what are likely very similar competitors?
Where my choice I would use Fedora, for work I use Ubuntu. Both work on a lot, sometimes both have problems with Bluetooth. if you want to run docker on Fedora you have to do a little extra work and disable some security features.
Ubuntu 20.04 and Kali Linux 2020.2 on an old Dell Precision M6800. I have MacOS on my 2012 MacBook Pro too but the keyboard is dying on that computer so I don’t use it much
Arch with KDE. Arch simply because of pacman and the AUR, and KDE, because I like it better than any other DE. Never really bothered with customizing i3 or some other WM.
Arch/i3/neovim/tmux/libvirt/k3s on a Dell Precision 5540 -- it's a beast of a machine and it runs brilliantly.
Debian GNU/Linux bullseye/sid
Is there any answer other than TempleOS?
