What annoys you about YouTube?
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve notice many people find aspects of YT annoying or even frustrating. I personally stopped watching YT just because it’s hard to find quality content, not to mention, unless you have premium, it’s impossible to watch with all the ads. However, just by chance, I’m working on a project with a partner I met a few months back, that aims to help users find and organize curated content from YT in a sane way. But first I felt I should ask others with the same sentiments about YT and see what else we can do.
YouTube became way too money centric. I try to watch a 5-10 min video and can't without 5-8 min of super shitty scammish ads. what the actual fuck? That's really annoying I frankly just bare use youtube because of this shit. I either put some 3-4 adblockers on my chrome to watch some video. The suggestions became super weird and full of promoted stuff. I mean, it's okay to make money out of all this, but I really think google really took this too far. I personally won't be coming back to youtube unless they will be pulling their shit together..
I feel you are going back to the early days of index websites before they realized the internet is to large to curate by hand and either died or became search engines.

The one part I feel YouTube is failing currently is content suggestions, it used to be crap for years until it wasn't but it feels like it's goimg back to a hoshpot of weird and random suggestions where a year ago I felt like I wanted to watch 25% of the content now it's either 0 or 2 %
