What is YC's stance on democracy, free speech and human rights?

I'd guess that it is 'points/karma-based', on that your involvement/participation along with positive support from other participants increases your share on the executive power of your actions within the community. Is a bit like a shareholders meeting, only they give you shares if you actually say/support something and more shares for each other shareholder that expresses a positive reaction to your contribution. Free speech is practically total in terms of what you can say or write, but the community can demote your post in such a way that only people that has earned enough karma can read it. I guess that it only concerns itself with human rights related to expression.
