Of course these can’t avoided, it’s part of being a human and maybe the best solution is to find pleasure in them. But on the other hand it’s nice to free up time or mental energy to throw at other things.
You can’t automate that much but you can make manual stuff easier. Unsurprisingly this all costs money.
Floors:
I bought an Ecovacs Deebot n79s robot vacuum and it’s great for the price as stage 1 cleaning - this starts as I wake up.
I also bought a iRobot Braava 390t, some extra northstars, spare washing solution and generic cloths from eBay and this is stage 2 for floor tiles and wood flooring that starts after the vacuum finishes.
Surfaces:
We then use disposable wipes last thing every night on kitchen and table surfaces and everything is wiped onto the floor for the vacuum to deal with.
Windows:
I bought a Karcher window vacuum and that reduces the effort in cleaning windows and shower. I didn’t buy a window cleaning robot because they are pretty expensive.
I live in an apartment so no need for a robot lawn mower.
This tech has taken some annoyance out of cleaning and more importantly my place is cleaner than it would be because I’d have certainly not bothered on some days.
