Do you ever wish there were two copy-paste key pairs?


Like c1,v2 and c2,v2. I wish this all the time when I copy an import statement and then some code.

I think clipboard managers can do what you want, they have a clipboard history.

Yes. The X11 clipboard does something like this, and when you're programming, it can be useful.

Related, I'd also like more than one cursor in a text editor. I believe I recall some Tcl/Tk thing from the mid-90s that had more than one cursor, but I've been unable to find it.

Could you explain the exact use case for this?

I'm intrigued but a little confused.
