I am inquiring on behalf of a wealthy investor in my network. They are interested in the possibility of a private physician to intubate and treat them in the comfort of their Bay Area home should they become infected with COVID and experience pneumonia or other devastating effects. They are afraid that hospitals would be overwhelmed and worsen their condition.
Are there any startups or credible services that would agree to be retained? Obviously, out-of-network, but in this realistically terribly plutocratic society of ours, good healthcare is something that money can buy – if you know where to look.
So I'm looking before it's too late.
