Feel like I’ve seen a lot of layoffs lately, across a lot of different companies (not just overfunded unicorns)...
Layoffs become a trend and there is a cascading effect. One company does it because they have to and others start doing it because they think they should too. The public companies start doing it to cull their ranks because they want to.
