Are we getting closer to a Mr Robot future?

What is the future of privacy ? Do you think hacker groups will actually form ? Will there be sub communities of coders / networking enthusiats that will develop DIY solutions to evade privacy ?

Maybe I'm living in a fantasy but I look at China is doing and I can't help but think this will happen to us soon ?

Anyway what are your thoughts on this ?
