I'm curious if the recent pile on remotely matches the sentiment among employees right now. Are you paying attention to the recent news or is it business as usual? Are you concerned about the value of your equity? Has your opinion changed on Neumann or were his quirks fairly well established internally?
They're doing fine. Keeping up with launching the projects in their pipelines (the event space and mobile apps in DTSJ, various partnerships to incubate business leaders).
The people here on Hacker News live in a bubble, super self-absorbed in the monday quarterbacking of things that don't pertain to them, and drumming up every which one to be intellectually superior on any position.
Internal newsfeeds with all the rah rah pom pom shaking/drink the koolaid have disappeared in Asia offices.
Hmm, take hn demographics and intersect it with a real estate company's workforce. Considering that number, do you think a throwaway would guarantee anyone's anonymity?
Generally, public/media sentiment of a company is rarely what it is internally.
